“Egypte” – Top Ballet Group of the Competition! Group members: Meredith Berggren, Miranda DelaCruz, Amanda Kent, Natasha Papulkas and Bailey Woodman - Choreographed by Shana Shillow. Congratulations!
MIRANDA DELA CRUZ – Open Senior Soloist Overall Winner! (Miranda tied herself for 1st place overall with her solos, “American Beauty” choreographed by Christina Digiuseppe and “Chasing Cars” choreographed by Viktoria Must. Miranda also won “Senior Superstar” Award showing excellence in all her performances over the weekend in groups and solos!
Miranda won the $1,000.00 Scholorship “Be Discovered Broadway Bound Award”!! She won the “Highest Achievement Mark” for her Lyrical Solo choreographed by Viktoria Must out of 40 entries in the evening session! This number also won triple Diamond marks!! (when all three judges award a Diamond mark for the performance, 93-100%). Miranda won “Great Story Teller Award” for her modern solo choreographed by Christina Digiuseppe. Congratulations Miranda!
“Unchained Melody” – Senior Group Overall Runner Up! Best Choreography Award!! Triple Diamond Award Winner!! Group members: Meredith Berggren, Miranda DelaCruz, Amanda Kent, Bailey Woodman – Choreographed by: Christina Digiuseppe. Congratulations!
BAILEY WOODMAN – Most Promising Dancer Award out of 40 entries in that adjudication and Triple Diamond Award Winner for Lyrical Solo “The Story” choreographed by Courtney Burnatowski. The “Story Telling Award” for lyrical solo. Bailey won the “Spinning Award” for her jazz solo “Extraordinary Machine” choreographed by Courtney Burnatowski. Congratulations Bailey!
STEFANIA SORICHETTI – Most promising Dancer Award out of 29 entries in that adjudication for her jazz solo “Blackbird” choreographed by Courtney Drake. Congratulations Stefania!
ABBEY MARRISON and MEAGHAN HOUGHTON – 1st Place Platinum, Most promising performance out of 33 entries in that adjudication and Great Unison/Dynamic Duo Special Award for their tap duet “Breakin’ Up The House” choreographed by Courtney Drake. Congratulations Abbey and Meaghan!
FINDLAY McCONNELL – “Great Showmanship Award” chosen out of 66 entries in that adjudication for his acro solo “Mack The Knife” choreographed by Rachel Parish. Congratulations Findlay!
SYDNEY WU and FINDLAY McCONNELL- 2ND Overall Open Mini Duet for their acro duet “Stupid Cupid” choreographed by Rachel Parish. Congratulations Sydney and Findlay!
“Mr. Postman” - (Novice Tap Group) 1st Place Overall Mini Group choreographed by Lisa Morris-Hupe. Group Members: Alexa Cecilio, Lerna Maadanian, Findlay McConnell, Joselle Solarino and Sydney Wu. Congratulations!!
“Burn Baby Burn” - (Novice Jazz Group) “Energy Award/Burnin’ Up The Stage!” choreographed by Courtney Drake. (group members as Mr. Postman) Congratulations!
“Break Out Rhythm” - (Open Tap Group) 1st Place Diamond Award and “Rhythmic Feet” Special Award choreographed by Courtney Drake. Group members: Brooke Brimmer, Ashley Lai, Erika Montisano, Natasha Papulkas, Jasmine Phillips and Stefania Sorichetti. Congratulations!
