KICKS DANCE STUDIO's Competitive Dance Team performs at various dance competitions throughout Southern Ontario. The team is very successful; earning medals, trophies, overall awards, scholarships, and titles. Several students from KICKS are also members of the Canadian National Tap Dance Team, Showdance Team and Hip Hop Team, competing in Germany for the World Championships.

KICKS enters competitive students in solos, duets, trios, groups, large groups and productions in categories such as Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Pointe. Competitive students train at least three times per week from September to May and compete in four competitions per year. Dancers from KICKS have won many awards from top national and international dance competitions such as "Showstopper" American Dance Championships, "Rhythm" Dance Competition, "Bedazzled" Dance Competition, "Starbeat" Dance Competition, and the Canadian National Dance Championships.
