Emma trained at KICKS Dance studio from the age of 3 to 11 before moving to Canada's National Ballet School in the professional ballet program. Emma trained until graduating from NBS in 2022.
Over her time there she had the privilege of performing James Kudelka’s Nutcracker with the National Ballet of Canada, the world premiere of “School” by James Kudelka, and “Arise” a contemporary piece by Jera Wolfe. Emma then trained in the Pre-Professional Program with the Queensland Ballet Company in Australia dancing in the core de ballet in the classical ballet “Manon.” Emma has trained with prestigious artistic directors such as Karen Kain, Li Cuxin, Mavis Staines, and Martine Lamy. After enjoying a professional ballet career, Emma moved back to Ontario to pursue the field of Veterinary Medicine. Ballet is still a major passion of hers and she is so excited to come back home and share that with young dancers in hopes that she can give them the experience at KICKS that she had growing up as an aspiring dancer!
